A 58-year-old woman has undergone resection of a pT2 squamous cell carcinoma of the lateral tongue with neck dissection. Final histology reports a positive deep mucosal margin (tumour at margin) and one involved node showing extracapsular (extranodal) extension. She has good performance status and an eGFR of 85 mL/min.
